Job Description:
The primary role of the Account Manager is to assist the Property/Casualty Producers in the placement and servicing of their new and renewal accounts while maintaining retention on the book of business assigned. Maintain exceptional marketing skills thru contact with underwriters and maintain on-going knowledge of their individual appetites and underwriting guidelines. Initiate cross sell opportunities on existing book of business. Prepare professional proposals and summaries of insurance with accuracy. Maintain renewal expiration list on a pro-active basis by obtaining updated information from clients 90 days ahead and preparing accurate submissions to carriers for quotations. Check policies received from carriers for detailed accuracy to ensure E & O protection. Maintain client database on documents, claims, accounting and activity detail in Agency computer software system. Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and internal team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service on all Commercial Lines accounts assigned
- Market new, renewal and rewrite of accounts to carriers
- Provide Agency Producers strong support on the marketing and servicing of their accounts
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with carriers/markets
- Maintain system data entry accuracy for input of our software system (Applied)
- Prepare certificates of insurance
- Prepare insurance binders
- Maintain accounting issues on assigned accounts, invoicing, accounts receivable
- Prepare finance agreements
- Maintain retention on assigned book by proactively maintaining Agency expiration list
- Maintain file maintenance on all assigned accounts
- Process incoming mail on your assigned accounts
- Comply with department procedures on the pro-active resolution of cancellations and direct collection items
- Diary necessary items to/from carriers, clients and Producers to ensure timely responses
- Follow written procedures for obtaining updated information from clients 90 days prior to renewal
- Check policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy on quoted limits, deductibles, rates etc.
- Maintain workload on a current basis in conjunction with departmental procedures
- Be willing to assist when called upon for special projects or peak periods within the department
- Prepare proposals/schedules/summaries
- Take first claims reports and enter data into Agency system and report to carrier
- Assist in helping to train other Account Managers when asked by management
- Document all customer requests in the computer
- Respond to carrier and client/customer phone call/e-mail requests

Job Description
Primary Functions: - Provide excellence in customer service on all personal lines accounts assigned.

- Technical expertise in Personal lines coverage, products, programs & rating.

The primary role of the Client Service Representative is to assist the benefits department as a client support resource and provide unparalleled customer care to the client. - Work with Benefit Analyst for preparation of renewal and new proposals
- Assist in the preparation of new enrollment/open enrollment kits
- Act as Claims Adjudicator for employees - ensuring proper claims processing
- Assist department with weekly meetings, ensuring deliverables are met
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by Director of Employee Benefits
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)
- Exceptional typing skills (40 wpm).
- Ability to speak in front of large groups of individuals
- Must possess current California Department of Insurance L&D License
Additional Qualifications:
- 2-Year college degree or equivalent of 2 years experience is required
- Minimum five years industry experience

- Valid California Driver's License
