Lawson-Hawks Insurance Associates in Truckee won first place in the annual Sponsors’ Team Penning event at the 36th Truckee Pro Championship Rodeo on Friday, July 23rd, 2010!

The LHI team consisted of Shari Wade, Senior Account Manager Personal Lines, Larissa Givens, daughter of Allyson Givens, Commercial Account Manager, Liz Zimmerman, god-daughter of Truckee Branch Manager, Bill Hanson, and Liz’s mother, Susan Randall. Our team herded three cattle into the pen in an exciting run of 30 seconds flat. The next closest score was 33 seconds.

Bill Hanson said, “We are proud of our team and of Lawson-Hawks for continuing this tradition of supporting important community events.” Lawson-Hawks Insurance Associates has sponsored the Truckee Rodeo for two years since acquiring the Truckee Branch office in June of 2009. The Truckee Rodeo has been a tradition in Truckee for many years and remains one of the most well attended social events in the Sierra. Proceeds from this event go to a number of important charities and organizations in our mountain community.
