For real peace of mind as you're out on the water, you need a policy that provides a wide range of coverage. Coverage should include: Physical damage, increased limits of liability, medical payments, uninsured watercraft, total loss replacement option, personal property, towing and assistance and trailer coverage.

There are mainly two ways to cover. Keep in mind not everyone's needs are the same.

Agreed Value Hull Coverage: Coverage will be provided on an agreed amount basis. That means company will pay the amount of insurance if a total loss occurred. This gives an added measure of protection.

Optional Actual Cash Value Hull Coverage: This option is available if a reduced premium is preferred. The settled amount will be based on actual cash value basis at the time of loss.
